The Virtual Kitchen application provides training on food hygiene to support NVQ Level 1. The application allows a student to undertake various tasks within the Virtual Kitchen including preparation of meat, fruit and fish dishes, hazard analysis and fire drills.
By using Interactive 3D technology, coupled with video and speech from a virtual instructor, these tasks can be undertaken in a controlled environment, whilst at the same time offering enough realism to provide a worthwhile and effective learning environment.
The application was delivered in CD-ROM format, and we hope to release a web version soon. Check out our News section for further updates on this and our other products.
