Yeovil Town Town Website

The first of our "virtual community" websites, Yeovil Town was so innovative in it's use of Interactive 3D technology that we won an Intel e-commerce award shortly after the initial publication of the site.

Since then, the site has been continually updated to accommodate the new and diverse businesses starting in the Yeovil area and to incorporate new town centre and outlying developments in our virtual model. We are currently in a programme of re-development to improve the realism and usability of the model.

This virtual model allows users to walk around the town and view the shops and businesses from a human perspective.  In addition to our standard business listings, we offer an enhanced 3D entry, where users can be placed directly outside a shop or business allowing them to quickly identify a location in or around the town centre.
