e-Commerce

The Internet is obviously an important medium for extending the marketing envelope for any business. Initially, a business can have a website which is essentially just an extension of its brochure with details of the company, its products and its services. This provides a convenient reference for customers and suppliers alike.

There are 2 extensions to this:

e-Business Providing facilities, which may include purchasing, tracking, account management, privileged information etc., for other businesses which may be its customers and/or suppliers.

e-Commerce Providing the ability for consumers to purchase products from the website.

Third Dimension has provided a number of e-Commerce applications for businesses and organisations, to allow them to sell their products online securely.

Many of these applications are database driven and use Third Dimension's bespoke shopping basket system.
